Spring!

Sorry for the long lag in postings... Honestly I just haven't had that much to write about as far as Mud Whimsy goes. I haven't had any news, any new creations, or much inspiration as Winter played out. But now it's Spring and I'm finding myself drawn into my studio once again! I've been busy making some new mugs, filling a few orders, and getting ready for a show that will include my mugs and encaustic pieces.

One BIG step closer

WAHOOOOO! I GOT A KILN!

She's old- older than me. But she was very gently (and barely) used, kept in a garage her whole life, and for the low price I paid it was worth the risk. After I bought my kiln I was driving home with it in my car and laughing because I was so giddy! Now I have almost everything I need to get going on my dream.
